Founders
Dr Philip H.W. Leong is a Professor of Computer Systems in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Sydney. He has made a number of fundamental contributions to reconfigurable computing and AI. He has 10k+ citations and 200+ papers in this field, receiving Best Paper and Outstanding Paper Awards at conferences such as FPT and FPL. He was also a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London.
Dr Stephen Tridgell holds a PhD from the University of Sydney in Computer Engineering. He has conference and journal publications in the field of AI hardware and ternary networks. He was a former member of the Waymo Lidar team, where he worked on the integration of specialised hardware with the vehicle.
Dr Barry Flower holds a PhD from the University of Sydney in Machine Learning and VLSI Implementation and brings over 30 years of experience as a CEO, CIO, executive-level technology manager, research professional and entrepreneur.
Dr Julian L Faraone holds a PhD from the University Of Sydney in Computer Engineering. He has conference and journal publications in the field of AI hardware and ternary networks. He was a former member of the hardware computing groups at Amazon Lab126, Mythic-AI and Xilinx (AMD) where he worked on efficient LLM algorithms for custom hardware.
